Engineering

I would just like to emphasize the fact that engineering....is truly crazy hard! I can't remember the days that homework of any kind took less than an hour! Everytime a homework assignment is given, I think 'ok well there goes another 5-6 hours of my life'. Educational? Yes, you could say that, but the reality is, the time it takes me to teach myself is about 4 times longer than if I actually had a teacher teach me! Guess that's college right.

So today I had a lot of time to mess around since I just finished taking my last test for school! And just as always I started a lot of things out of bordom and hardly finished anything I started! I DID however get to start my scrapbook...the one I told myself I'd start 2 years ago!

These three boxes I punched for a huge order, 30 confetti boxes! It was an assortment of different confetti, so I am splitting them up so you can see the boxes in a closer light. Above is 3 different flowers in yellow and white.

Virginia Tech MEMORIAL FUND

Hello. I just want to say that I am deeply affected by this tragic event. I was there when it happened. I am a student in the engineering department there, and I love it. That day when I woke up, I had a strong feeling that is was going to be a weird day. I assumed that it would be a "normal" odd day though. Odd to me was that it was April and it was snowing outside! After my first class, a lab so I didn't have access to internet/email, I headed over to my next class. I had no idea we were on lock down. On my way over, I ran into several police with huge guns. It looked like war. In the moment, I thought was going to die. I now know, and thank God, I didn't. During the event I was so shook up that a secretary I had never met pulled me inside her office to confort me. At one point, they thought the shooter was in our building, in which I hid under her cubical with my computer trying to contact my mom because I didn't have my cell on me. Long story short, I cried that day. I cried not only for those lives that were lost, but in fear that my life would end as well. My heart goes out to all of those families and friends who lost people they cherish.

A few things:
1) VT IS AMAZING. I don't care what other people say. I LOVE it there.
